Make sure you home wifi is secured with a password.

If you are using a Public Wifi hotspot to access the internet, 

and you don’t use VPN to connect to your office, you 

should probably install a public VPN to ensure better security.

Many people are using VPN with remote desktop.

We can forget which computer we are on and inadvertently 

shut down our office PC. It would have to be physically turned

on again for access so be careful.

Similarly, make sure you start your Zoom video session from your 

home computer if you are working through remote desktop. 

Offices might not have enough bandwidth to work directly off of 

the server on your home PC/Mac. if that is the case, it might be 

best to copy over the file to work on it. and re-copy it when you

are done.
